1 Educating/Administrating about Risk Management Program on day-to-day Basis.
2 Ensures a system that reflects the hospitals commitment to patient safety and is aligned with Mission, Vision, and Values of the hospital.
3 Investigate, and conduct Root Cause Analysis for Sentinel Events and occurrences in the facility.
4 Conduct educational program on health care risk management, to all clinical and non clinical staff on related subjects like Occurrence Variances/Sentinel Events/Medical Errors.
5 Orientation program to nursing staff about Reviewing medical files to improve documentation about patient’s care, and to measure the outcome by carrying systematic review for implementing changes if necessary. It involves measuring of clinical practice against references.
6 Provide assistance to departments in complying with Joint Commission Regarding risk management related standards.
7 Design and administer safety system and procedures to minimize loss from employee’s casualty and comply with OSHA regulations.
8 Quality Coordinator preparing Alnoor Hospital for JCIA accreditation for this year.
